This Privacy Policy explains how data is collected, stored, used, and shared when you interact with any Discord bot owned, operated, or maintained by Astromaniac. By using any Astromaniac bot, you consent to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

The bots may collect and process the following categories of data when required for functionality and bot features:

• Discord user IDs, usernames, nicknames, and discriminator values.

• Server and channel IDs and configuration settings.

• Commands used, system usage data, and interaction logs.

The bots do not store IP addresses or email addresses except when voluntarily communicated by users for support or deletion requests.

Public Display of Data

Music and Audio Features

Bots operated by Astromaniac may allow users to request, queue, or play audio from third party platforms including Deezer for full audio playback and other platforms for metadata lookup or search purposes. Astromaniac does not host, store, or own any audio content. Playback and content access are subject to the terms of the respective platforms and users are responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to request or stream such content.

Data Sharing

Data may be shared only in the following situations:

• With internal development or support staff for diagnostic or moderation purposes.

• With external API services required to perform bot functions such as music playback or metadata retrieval.

• If required by law, legal order, or valid law enforcement request.

• If necessary to comply with Discord policies or platform requirements.

Data is not shared with third parties for advertising, profit, or unrelated services.

Data Retention

Data may be retained as long as required for the operational purpose of the bots. Some data may be stored indefinitely unless a deletion request is submitted. Queue information or temporary interaction details may only be stored during the session or while required for bot functionality. The bots do not automatically delete user data after a defined period.

Users and server owners may request the deletion of data related to:

• User profiles, leveling, achievements, or leaderboard placement.

• Music request history and metadata associated with playback features.

Children's Data

The bots are not intended for children under the age required by Discord which is 13 years or older. Astromaniac does not knowingly collect or store data from users under this age.
